To preserve a friendly and welcoming server, toxicity will not be tolerated on this server. Toxicity is defined as:
- Discrimination against minority groups, such as on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity or religion.
- Using slurs or other harmful derogatory words.
- Spamming chat, tickets, forms, etc.
- Advertising unaffiliated websites, servers or other media.
- Harassment or bullying.
- Constructing lag machines.
- Mass indiscriminate murder or theft.
- Supporting or promoting hateful ideologies, such as Nazism.
- Attempting to ruin the gameplay experience for others.
- Joining a town, faction, group, party, or nation with the intent to sabotage or grief.
- Killing a player who has been AFK for longer than 5 minutes, or AFK for an unknown amount of time.
- Raiding a town without warning and without a clear demand that could avoid it.
- Raiding is defined as an attack on a player settlement with at least 25% of the victim settlement's playerbase online.
- A raid must be announced both in-character (proximity yelling preferably) and out-of-character (in-game general chat) with demand(s) that can stop the raid. If the settlement does not comply, the raid may commence, with the raider(s) stating IC and OOC that the raid will commence.
- During a raid, the invaders are allowed to break walls for entry, steal items and livestock (not blocks), and kill players. However, to keep toxicity low, it is highly recommended that invaders do not wipe whole settlements during a raid. It is expected that most raids will be small annoyances rather than dramatically changing the course of a settlement
- If any of the settlement's online players has to leave in the middle of a raid, they may do so, but the raid can continue if the raiders choose. However, it's recommended that the raiders dial back their raid for the sake of reducing toxicity between players.
- Robbing and/or murdering the same player(s) more than once during the same session. Death is a big deal, and as such, it should not be dealt with lightly. Give players ample breathing room after one of these events so they can get back on stable footing and enjoy the game.
- Raiding a town more than once during the same session, unless explicitly agreed to by both parties.
Single, isolated events of toxicity may be punished with a temporary mute, kick, or verbal warning, while frequent toxicity will result in removal from the server, possibly permanently.
